But these are not professional photographers taking headshots or wedding photos. They’re regular young Nepalese people: courting, flirting and social-media obsessed. ‘[This] is what you need to do if you want to get a girlfriend in Nepal,’ says 24-year-old singleton Avash. ‘It doesn’t matter if you are good-looking or kind. You need to have a good camera so you can take pictures of your girlfriend looking nice for Instagram.’
