An investigation by the Brazilian Federal Police has indicated that the murder of human rights activist and councillor Marielle Franco was masterminded by federal congressman Chiquinho Brazão, Rio de Janeiro state court official
Domingos Brazão, and former Rio police chief Rivaldo Barbosa.
