Amid a media blockade and extended military curfew, Asif Amin Tibet Baqual breeds sheep. He is also the founder and shepherd, together with his brother Yasir (an IT specialist) and the cartoonist and graphic designer Suhail H Naqshbandi, of what is considered Kashmir’s first creative communications agency.
Under the tagline ‘Hard-hitting ideas’, BlackSheep.Works offers communications services to diverse clients from NGOs and start-ups to corporates; alongside their creative output, they feel a social responsibility to respond to prevalent injustice.
