Activists have found a fresh way to bring home the injustice of the gender pay gap by hitting the male brain where it hurts – in the price of a morning cup of coffee.
Women set up a coffee stall on the lawn of Wellington’s Victoria University Law School last November and charged men extra for the same drink. While women paid $3.50 for a ‘long black’, men had to fork out $3.85.
