Oslo’s City Council has voted to ban public procurement of goods and services from Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian Territories.
The recent ban stems from the newly adopted 2019-23 co-operation platform between the Socialist Left (SV), Labour and Green parties. Oslo is the sixth Norwegian municipality to take this step, together with one county council.
