After nearly 70 years of oppression in Tibet, recent evidence shows that there has been a significant increase in torture and the numbers of political prisoners.
A recent Amnesty report confirms Tibetans’ allegations of torture. Chinese officials used medieval torture devices such as spiked rods and iron torture chairs as well as electric batons.
