It’s official: governments who fail to act on climate change could face serious legal consequences.
A groundbreaking ruling by the UN’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) mandates governments to reduce emissions and support those on the frontlines of climate impacts, whether or not they have signed up to environmental treaties like the Paris Agreement.
